It was a normal sunny day in the murrey house. Gemma wondered if her mum had any old jewellery so she asked and her mum and she said yes. When Gemma’s mum walked up stairs and my dad said tea was ready we were having pizza. Minutes later, after we finished dinner, it was my turn to wash up even though I did it yesterday. Meanwhile, my mum went upstairs and came down with a box; it was shiny. Gemma’s mum put the box on my knee , but when she opened the lid, there was a bright shiny ring and she picked it up… Last week, we actually gave out 3 class awards: Cailen and Curtis both achieved more than 20000 points on Mathletics, whilst Lara won the class design for Nick Sharratt's pants (see the previous post). Brilliant effort! In addition, most of the class got their first Bronze certificate in Mathletics! Well done - keep practising everyone! After serious internet problems this week, we are up and running again. On Tuesday we celebrated World Book Day with Nick Sharratt coming in to talk about, amongst other things, pants and socks! |
